MELAFOL technology – a guarantee of durability and precision

When we talk about innovations in furniture design, we cannot overlook MELAFOL technology, which is used to create our new structures. MELAFOL is a production line that makes it possible to create a wide variety of furniture components – from room furniture fronts to dining table tops to bathroom vanity tops.

The single-sided laminated MDF boards of 16 to 25 mm thickness used in the production process are coated with 0.3-0.4 mm PVC, PET polymer foil. The entire vacuum pressing process is carried out with a durable PUR dispersion adhesive, which guarantees a temperature resistance of up to 70⁰C. As a result, the finished products are resistant to elevated temperatures and moisture.

What’s more, all the wood-based materials used in MELACO’s production are FSC®-certified, confirming their sustainable origins. But that’s not all. The greatest asset of MELAFOL technology is the design possibilities. Thanks to CNC machining technology, we can achieve both subtle patterns and deep milling on the surface of the fronts. This makes every piece of furniture not only durable, but also unique in its own right.

Innovative FLORA film – ecology meets design

But it is not just design that sets our new structures apart. The key to their uniqueness is the use of the innovative FLORA film. Made from natural ingredients – salt and ethylene from raw pine oil – it is not only ecological, but also guarantees durability and resistance to damage.
